A Santa Barbara Weekend

Since my car was set to be shown at Bimmerfest 2009, I figured it'd be a good excuse to take another weekend vacation with GJ. More of the whole Bimmerfest agenda could be found on these previous posts. Anyway, we flew into LAX early Friday morning and met up with my car at AutoTalent. After unloading it from the trailer, we were starving so we headed straight for an In n' Out.

I had stayed at Casa Mina the year before for Bimmerfest, so it was the obvious choice for this year. The villas are absolutely beautiful and did not disappoint. If I ever go back there, I definitely want to stay at the penthouses to round out each villa experience. Anyway, the room wasn't ready (it was a brand new villa construction), so we parked the car in the garage and headed out to do some shopping. I'll let you guys click here to read about the rest of the Bimmerfest agenda, haha.

But on our final morning, we took a nice walk down to Tupelo Junction for breakfast. If you go, the beignets are an absolute must and you have to try the orange juice. Seriously amazing. On the way back to our villa, we ran into a caravan of Bimmerfest-ers heading back home. Sweet sight to see Santa Barbara literally infested with BMWs. The views, the villa and the vacation itself was absolutely beautiful. Santa Barbara is definitely one of my favorite places in California. Here are some pics from the trip:
