Project 808 x Unscene Media: Part 2

For the second part of the Project 808 videos, I wanted to really appeal to the senses. As you add mods to your car (or you're sitting behind the wheel of your finished product), we get a sense of that inner 5-year old, gitty excitement that we crave. With this video and with the talent behind Project 808 in building your car to perfection, I really wanted to capture that sensation without aid of conventional music...but with the natural soundtrack and look of the cars themselves. I know my heart starts speeding up every time I watch it.

Project 808 x Unscene Media: Part 1

My friend Jesal from Project 808 and I had a chance to get together and get some filming done finally. Project 808 is THE definitive source for all your aftermarket exhaust needs. I'll definitely be picking up some goods from these guys when spring rolls around...especially after chatting it up with Jesal during our shoot. Anyway, we've been trying to get together for some time some Unscene Media could put its spin on the ever-so typical car (exhaust) videos.

Thankfully, Jesal was open-minded enough to let me do my thing and do things differently from the norm. Check out part 1 below and let me know what you think!

Lifestyle.

Between all the meetings I've been taking lately, I had a chance to get to some lifestyle work. It was really fun to get out and shoot these not only for practicing some photographic techniques, but also to capture some of the people that mean a great deal to me in my life thusfar. Hope you enjoy:

MidCoast F.Show Casting x Jugrnaut

My friend Rex over at Mix Media gave me a call a few weeks ago and we sat down for a meeting to talk about their newest project - a "midcoast" streetwear fashion show. They're doing things proper in Chicago and bringing in heavy hitters like Hellz Bellz as well as repping Chicago's own streetwear shops like Jugrnaut, Leaders, RSVP Gallery and St. Alfred's.

Info aside, this is exactly what Chicago needs right now. The west and east coasts are so much more on point when it comes to streetwear awareness and Chicago needs a wake up call. There are handfuls of great boutiques in the city that people need to know about and it's great to see all the midwest love showing through in the show. I can't wait!

Come roll through December 10, 2009 at Lumen for a great time, dope beats and a streetwear education. You can pick up some tickets at supporting local Chicago shops or order online here. Here are some photos to wet your appetite:

Stay tuned for more from the Mix Media x Jugrnaut x Unscene Media casting!
